Now it seems to be a good time for Malayalam movie industry and movie lovers. Their actors are getting honoured everywhere. Suraj Vanjaramood got the national award and now Prithviraj has been given the IBNLive Award for the best supporting actor. Prithvi got this award for his Hindi movie ‘Aurangzeb’.
Prithvi had his bollywood venture with Rani Mukherjee in the movie ‘Aiyyaa’. The movie didn’t do well in the box office. His role in ‘Aurangzeb’ is of a police officer named ACP Arya and the movie is narrated from his point of view. His character in this movie is seen to be trapped between truth and the responsibilities towards his family.
The movie directed by Atul Sabharwal was released in 2013. Arjun Kapoor played the lead role. Sashaa Agha, Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Swara Bhasker were also part of this movie.
