Mohanlal acquires the coveted 'Monkey Pen'

Last year, the cuteness of a young boy named Ryan Philip and his gang of friends, in the movie Philips & the Monkey Pen attracted a huge number of viewers. A magical pen with a monkey’s face changed the life for the young kid.

Mohanlal, who has a liking for antique articles, wanted the pen that was in the custody of the film’s producers Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. 

The superstar asked for the pen once and when he repeated his request, while visiting their office, the producers decided to gift him the coveted pen.

Now the 'Monkey pen' has found a place in Mohanlal's art collection.
